Three Questions: Jimmy Liks and Mrs. Liks co-owner Kirsty Maloney

I know people who cannot survive a weekend without a fix of Jimmy Liks from the markets (Don't worry, you know who you are, but I'm not naming names..!). The delicious yellow chicken curry AND whole duck egg wrapped in a flaky golden roti, and stuffed in the sides with pickled veggies and topped with fresh coriander and pork crackling? Yes, that's the one! I mean, what could possibly taste better than THAT?

The Maloneys, Kirsty and Justin who owned one of Darlinghurst's best loved restaurants, Jimmy Liks, began concentrating more on the markets when lockout laws soured the dining out experience in the area.

Fast forward to early this year, and the Moloneys again sensed a change coming and acted quickly. Sure enough, the pandemic broke worldwide and restaurants went into lockdown with everyone else. By this time, Justin and Kirsty had rolled out their food delivery system, paving the way for the food industry's new normal.

Now, apart from the crazy delicious street food served at the markets, Mrs.Liks will deliver beautifully cooked homemade meals to your doorstep.

I asked the beautiful and ever smiling Kirsty Maloney my Three Questions:

1.Secret naughty food obsession?

Darrel Lea soft liquorice-but I rarely buy it as once I start eating, I can't stop!

2.Best thing you ate most recently?

Hot homemade bread made by my 11 year old with butter and honey. Served in bed with Earl Grey tea. Heaven!

3.Never fail pantry ingredients?

Pasta, great olive oil, ras el hanout, crispy shallots....
